About us

My life has always revolved around art. From ballet to acting, then to a career in life and photographic modelling. After 18 years I tool my place on the other side of the easel. Where I'm still working on refining my drawing skills to focus on becoming a self-trained artist.

I continue to model and run these life drawing sessions side by side.

After painting and drawing in Berkshire for over 10 years, I have taken the plunge and moved to Devon with my family. It has been a wonderful experience, however, I miss all the gorgeous people that I have got to know through life drawing- both models and artists. Currently I juggle raising two young children and painting.

Connell McMenamin is a classically trained figurative artist with a particular interest in portraiture. He is currently the artist in-residence at the Abbey School where he is continuing to pursue technical skills development whilst at the same time developing his artistic voice. Working almost exclusively in oils, he is interested in using disrupted, abstract elements within his figurative work as well as exploring new techniques and media for making work. He is a council member of the Reading Guild of Artists and has exhibited in group shows in the UK and Barcelona .
